It is in a lovely old building just up the river from my house within easy walking distance. In nice weather sitting on the terrace is very peaceful. Great for lunch, evening meals or afternoon tea.

Sightseeing

It is Colchesters history, laid out outside and inside with a good cafe. There are videos of how the romans used the area, and models and lots of interactive demonstrations. I would highly recommend.
