Edinburgh's Scott momument is a great bit of architecture on the high street, you can also go inside and go all the way to the top, its about £5 to go up and has some incredible veins of the city. Please note this is not suitable for people with mobility issues and there are A LOT of stairs, but the effort put in is well worth it for the lewis at the end.
