Great coffee, bakery, and breakfasts. Get there early or expect to wait 45 minutes. If end up having to wait, then get a pot of French press to pass the time.

Parks & Nature

Also, a Lower Table Rock trail. Both these trails are approx 5 miles round trip (if you walk along the top). Once on top, you hike flat along the top of a plateau to the edge for stunning views of our valley. This is what is left of an ancient volcanic lava flow. Kids can easily do this hike. Bring water and a picnic for the top. Dogs not allowed, so plan accordingly as you do not want to leave them in the car waiting on you. Free parking. Outhouse style bathroom at parking lot.

Great river access, bbq, volleyball, grassy area, playground and camp sites. This portion of Applegate river is slow moving (but cold), so lots of people hang out and wade into the water on hot days. Fee to enter park.
