Love Jake's for brunch or dinner. Food is fantastic like a Blue Crab sandwich that we cannot get enough of. Spectacular desserts too.

Although you can purchase alcohol at any grocery store, you'll find special prices and hard to find spirits at BevMo. If you like Tequila, try Don Julio 70. It's a clear anejo! All the buttery taste without the smokiness of an anejo.

Parks & Nature

Amazing desert landscapes. Cute little shops and eateries in the town of Joshua Tree. You'll need a National Park's parking permit and they are easy to get once you get into the park. If you go early, you may not be asked for the permit, but if you don't have one when leaving, you'll buy one when you leave. Springtime (March- April) is one of the best times especially if there has been rain. All the cacti might be in bloom. Really an amazing site. Lot's of hiking inside the park. There is also camping and daytime picnic areas.

Sightseeing

This is a great way to see the entire Coachella valley. At the top, you can order a bite to eat (mostly bar menu items), cocktails, beer and wine too. You can also enjoy miles of hiking. It's also fun in the winter with snow on the ground.
