Beautiful lake in the centre of Armadale, a bridge over the lake allows you to cross the lake. Lawns around the lake make for relaxing afternoons. The Scots Highland Games are held in September each year, Fireworks on New Years Day and Carols in the Park before Christmas

Paved walking trails in this bushland allows access both for able and disabled visitors to enable close encounters with the Flora and Fauna of the Darling Scarp, which is the backdrop to Perth. Interpretive signage provides further information on the features of Settlers Common

Nearly 5 square kilometers in area, Bungendore Park shows how community involvement can transform severely degraded land back into pristine bushland. Wildflowers abound during winter and spring. The 3 Black Cockatoo species of Western Australia visit and nest in this area. Rare and endangered Flora and Fauna are maintained in weed free bushland. Phythphora dieback has affected up to 60% of the park, but its spread has been curtailed by treatments of the interface between Dieback free and infected areas. Kangaroos, goannas, echidnas and many other Fauna are visible throughout the park.
