Food Scene
They have a great selection of St. Louis-specific foods. Provel cheese is a St. Louis cheese and makes burgers and pizza different from anywhere else! The Original Gibby cheeseburger is a solid choice, although I would recommend getting the Gibby Feast which includes pizza, wings, toasted ravioli, salad, and cheese sticks. It's not on the menu, but they should let you order it. Also, they have the creamiest fettuccine Alfredo ever!

Lewis Cafe is a historic cafe and features beef that is locally grown and processed, so it's fresh and delicious! I've never had anything I didn't like here, but I especially recommend their breakfast sausage and burgers. Make sure to save room for a piece of pie as well...your taste buds will thank you :).

This is St. Clair's only Mexican restaurant, but it's a good one. I especially like the Chori Pollo. Their chorizo is a little too salty maybe, but the meal as a whole is fantastic!

I've never had anything I didn't like here. This is my second choice for BBQ in the area (see Sugarfire) and my first choice for BBQ in St. Clair.

Sugarfire is the best BBQ spot around! It's not in St. Clair, but well worth the drive. It sits along the Missouri River, has a great atmosphere, but most importantly AMAZING food! You can't go wrong with anything you get here!

I probably wouldn't drive here JUST for the coffee, but if you're going to Washington to eat at Sugarfire or walk along the riverfront trail, this is a great place to chill out and enjoy a cup of coffee!

This is one of my favorite places out of St. Clair to get a cup of coffee and lunch. They have great food! I wouldn't backtrack to go here, but if you're headed west on I-44 anyway, it's a great food stop!
