Excellent food and a very warm welcome at the Daffodil. They have been awarded the Michelin Plate Award for 2020 and 2021. Modern comfortable decor indoors and an outdoor terrace with gorgeous views.

Sightseeing

One of the best places to see the local bottlenose dolphin population of Cardigan Bay. Either take one of the many trips out into the bay or take your binoculars and camera and sit on the harbour wall.

The Falls at Cenarth are so picturesque. There is a boardwalk alongside the river for lovely riverside walk and plenty of cafes & pubs for a cream tea or lunch. Or why not visit the Coracle Museum for a bit of local history.

Parks & Nature

Take a walk around the reserve, which is constructed of ancient peat bogs. There is fantastic birdwatching and the views are lovely. There is also the Ystwyth Trail which runs adjacent and tracks the former railway line, so lovely and flat for cycling.

You can walk around part of the lake or drive around if you are not feeling less energetic. There are also brilliant cycling routes through Carmarthenshire & Ceredigion that pass by Llyn Brianne.

One of our favourite get-away-from-it-all places. Always very quiet an dates scenery of the Cambrian Mountains is stunning.

Beach

Gorgeous beach that is often very quiet. About 1 mile long and with caves at one end. You can walk down the road or take the scenic route through woodland. This is a magical walk with a stream and waterfall. Run by the National Trust there is a car park (payable) with cafe and toilets.

Beautiful beach around 35 - 40 minutes drive from Coedmor Cottages. Popular with surfers. There are a few cafes, restaurants and pubs behind the beach. At low tide you can also access Cilborth beach which is even prettier.

Cilborth can be accessed at low tide from Llangrannog beach or from the coast path down a steep set of steps. It is very picturesque with dramatic cliffs and rocks and soft golden sand.

Walking the Cardigan Bay Coastal Path is wonderful at any time of year. Discover secret coves and spectacular views. If you are lucky you might spot dolphins or porpoises frolicking in the ocean or seals on the quiet beaches.
