Best breakfast in town. Little out of path maybe, but still very easy to reach from the appartment. Maybe a bit more expensive than other places, around 30$ after taxes and coffee and smoothie, but so worth it, so pretty, so nice. Beware: no reservations on week-ends, and lines can be looooong. I suggest to book a table on week days.

Cheap tasty dumplings in Chinatown, what more can I add? Some vegetarian options I believe.

Saint-Viateur bagel, Fairmount bagel... Two iconic places, and I couldn't pick one over the other. Montreal's bagel are simply delightful, and always cheap! Open 24/24.

Iconic place for meat lovers! Real little american dinner with lots of history. Did you know a play was made about this place a few years ago?

Bit out the the beaten path, but worth it. Great selection of ciders, homebrewed beers and other alcohol from pretty cheap to a bit more expensive. They have food but except for the cheese plate (all quebec cheese, delicious!), I think you can find better food cheaper elsewhere.

Parks & Nature

Ayyyy, winter or summer, day or night, this place is truely a little heaven in this sometimes busy city. Make sure to see the tam-tams near the statue every sunday of the summer, and hike to the top any time you'd like - it's always nice.

Entertainment & Activities

Montreal is full of Festival all year long. I won't list them all, so I picked the jazz one because it has something special. Every montrealer's like jazz for a week in July. No matter the age or the social status, everyone gathers around those free shows and listen to the beautiful sounds of talented musicians. It will be my pleasure to find the festivals happening during the time of your stay!
