Seil's much-loved 18th century inn, just beside Clachan Bridge. 'House of the Trousers' in English, Tigh-an-Truish was (allegedly) where islanders discarded their proscribed Highland dress and donned breeches for journeys to the mainland in the aftermath of the 1745 Jacobite Rising.

Lovely gardens in the sheltered grounds of a much-altered castle; former residence of the MacDougalls of Raera and, latterly, the earls of Breadalbane. Open to the public for a small charge from 9AM 'til dusk every day, all year.
