Built by Henry VIII on the headland guarding Falmouth harbour (and a twenty minute walk along the seafront from the house), the castle is of historical and architectural interest in a beautiful coastal setting with views to St Mawes and across Falmouth Bay to the Lizard (English Heritage).

This is a beautiful sandy beach ten minutes' walk from our house. As well as sunbathing and swimming, you can enjoy the excellent food and views in the Gylly Cafe or hire wetsuits and paddleboarding equipment.
