From the spacious outdoor area with the most beautiful flowing creek, to the oh so cozy inside (we were lucky enough to use the wood stove), and 2 balconies to stargaze this place is a no brainer. I recommend staying more than 1 night to soak in all this space has to offer! Heather was an amazing host- extremely kind and responsive to communicate with! Perfect location for if you’ve visiting the Great Sand Dunes. While driving around town, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I hope to be back soon 😀

The earthship was quiet, warm, and peaceful, even on a very windy day! The wood stove and gas fireplace were easy to use and cozy. The record player and old records were fun and novel. The kitchen and bathroom had everything you could need. And, of course, Crestone is beautiful. Sean and Thomas were always responsive and kind in their messages, and we briefly got to chat with Thomas, which was lovely.

Staying at Dana’s place is always an absolute dream. Not only is the property magical and surrounded by beautiful scenery, but Dana himself is a truly exceptional host. He goes above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable and cared for, and his thoughtful touches really make you feel special. It’s rare to find a host who puts so much heart into the experience. Highly recommend!!!!!

Alyssa's was wonderful! We really enjoyed our stay, the sun, wood fireplace, hiking in the San De Cristos, and a trip to Sand Dunes NP! Great host, would recommend if in the area!

Staying at the Hobbitat was such a a treat! Jeff and Ruth are fantastic hosts and have created something so special. We felt so lucky to have experienced it for a few days. We especially enjoyed finding the hidden treasures in the architecture, sitting out on the balconies enjoying the mountain views, star gazing, and bird watching, and the quick trips to explore downtown Crestone. This was one of our more unique stays and we would highly recommend!

Great spot - some idiosyncrasies of the location (they built the place themselves!) but we had a wonderful time there overall and the area is wonderful.

We had a wonderful time at staying at Liz's home! The house is beautiful with all of the essentials that one would need in a relatively remote location. We hope to visit Crestone again, and would definitely stay at her home again.

Beautiful home, looked just like the photos. The bed was comfortable. It was very quiet and peaceful, which was exactly what we were looking for. It was just a few minutes from downtown Crestone, which was also nice. After we checked out, Michelle contacted us and asked us for $20 to pay for firewood, which I thought should be included. We paid without complaint and moved on as we did have a wonderful stay. The home was very clean and tidy and well stocked with pots and pans, plates, silverware, etc. The house has everything you need to have a wonderful vacation.

I had a wonderful stay at Melissa’s Airbnb! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. Melissa was a great host—friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. The location was convenient and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. I’d definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back in the future!

We enjoyed our rendezvous with adult children at the cozy home. All the pictures, books, and local history and info were fun to glance at and/or read. The area is strikingly beautiful with snow in the mountains daily and even woke up to snow one morning at the house. Lovely. Oh, we had to make a trip to the hospital, and chose Salida. It was an uncrowded ER in a clean hospital with friendly, knowledgeable doctors and staff. Our host Soleil was friendly and quick to respond to questions we had. Highly recommend and hope to be back.

This house was a quiet and peaceful place to stay for a week. The kitchen was so easy to cook in, the views from the living room and office/second bedroom were gorgeous, the house was sparely decorated and very peaceful. The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood, and within walking distance of a wonderful mountain trail. We enjoyed our restorative stay very much. The house was very cozy and warm for our stay in late December.

Secluded and breathtaking mountain views, proximity to Salida and easy directions/process made this such a memorable stay! Had an amazing time and hope to return very soon! Very jealous of the river access. A must for my future house.

This was the most beautiful home in Crestone. Really lovely & spacious for our group of six adults. Wonderful kitchen for family meals, and incredible serene surroundings. Really appreciate it being fully stocked and having everything we needed to cook and enjoy a nice weekend in Christone. Lovely hosts, we can’t wait to come back!

My family (me, my husband, mom, and brother) loved staying here. The space is very relaxing- plenty of recline seating in the living room, comfortable beds in all three rooms, and the hot tub is a great place to stargaze. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen for cooking several meals in. Our dogs loved the backyard and the view is incredible from the front yard. Location felt secluded but only a 3 minute drive or 20 minute stroll to town. Charley was a wonderful, friendly, and welcoming host.

We had a great weekend getaway at the Hammock Hut! We took advantage of all the amenities—the hot tub, sauna, and nature trails. It was a perfect weekend for us and the pups and we can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I rented this cabin for Valentines weekend, and it was exactly as described. The owners are on property but it felt very secluded as the back porch where the hot tub is, is private and away from everything. This cabin was very homey and we absolutely loved the fire burning stove, after sitting in the hot tub out in winter it was what we needed to come and warm up by. The owners supplied the wood for us, and had it started before we even got there. They had all the amenities that we needed to make food. We absolutely loved this little get away and want to do it again.

Beautiful lodging with incredible views. Location is an easy drive to all the things to see in the area. We especially enjoyed the hot springs, sand dunes, and alligator park. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook a meal. Comfy beds and love the upstairs balcony. Highly recommend.

The cleanest, and most furnished short-term rental we have ever stayed in. From the all natural and local soaps, to all the office supplies you could ask for if you needed to work. Beds and couches were 10/10 comfort. They thought of every big and small detail. We will be back!

Beth is a great host, very responsive, helpful, & understanding. The place was so peaceful. My whole family spent time in the hot tub and massage chair, played corn hole, attempted to fish in icy water, & slept well in the beds. We went to the great sand dunes, the royal gorge bridge, mt Princeton hot springs, and monarch mountain… made loads of wonderful memories! Very appreciative of Beth and this place they shared with us!

We had an amazing stay. Beautiful and peaceful - the pictures do not do it justice. Jonalyn was very attentive and responsive. The house definitely feels like a home. As a plant lover , I was impressed by the variety of her thriving plants. Bed was very comfortable with high quality linens. Well stocked kitchen. Very dog friendly with two fenced in yards and a doggie door. We would definitely book again.
