This place is peaceful, beautiful, a gem. I loved hearing the water from the sundeck (porch with windows): looking and hearing the water, feeling so close was a balm and beauty. For those seeking rustic beauty, you cannot do better. The home is well set-up: cozy, stocked, inviting. The sky is full of stars, the tide comes in and out, the woods are just there. David's local recommendations were also outstanding, making us feel like visitors welcomed personally. We followed several of his suggestions at an easy pace: and so soaked in the quaint Brooklyn, WoodenBoatSchool, and gem-of-a-library. It was autumn with some rain, some cool, great beauty always. In other weather we might have done a campfire or bbq. Lovely seats outside. There were more places to sleep than we imagined there might be: it was just my teen son and I, so we didn't even go to the loft. This is a cozy cabin on the sea, with exceptional grounds and a good soul for host!

Perfect place to relax and have a good time . Very very clean , super well equipped. We lacked nothing …. A real little piece of heaven . I see it highly recommend it .

The place is in a great location with parking. Perfect for a family of 5. Restaurants near by and close to tourist attractions.

My wife and I were in a long road trip and after being in many different cities, this cottage was the perfect get away to sit a relax by the lake. Very clean and tidy, and just a relaxing and comfortable place to be! We met William outside and he was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice relaxing getaway!

The railing is very dangerous. Its screwed into the sheetrock and not into a stud. Caused me to injure my ankle when i lost my footing. If it was secured properly i would of been fine

Mitch has a lovely home with beautiful surroundings (Lake Champlain for kayaking and listening to the water lap on the shore, view of mountains across in the Adirondacks), local walks in the area are nice. Hiking not far away. We went into Burlington for a concert. Nice to realize that Mitch is related to a close friend of mine. A very peaceful spot,

Beautiful location, even in the snow storm. Sauna is fantastic, as was fire place. Huge laundry room was a plus. Great hiking within 10 min drive. Couple things to know. The doors to the bathroom and the one bedroom are folding pocket doors (like ones you might find on a closet) and are very acoustically transparent. They are right off of the main living space, so just a thing to be aware of if that is going to be a problem for your group. This is very much a lake house / winter cabin kind of space. It is not pristine. If you have young children, I might not feel comfortable bathing them in the tub, but it was certainly fine for tweens and adults to shower in. But if your expectations are set going in, you'll have a nice stay.

Had a great visit! Everything was impeccably clean, the bedrooms, the bathroom, the kitchen, absolutely everything was spotless. It's a perfect place to rest, recharge, and enjoy the scenery. The hot tub, too, was very clean and made the experience even more enjoyable. Honestly, everything was perfect! If you are looking for a quiet and refreshing place, I would highly recommend this accommodation.
