Waterfront vacation rentals in Salmon River

We will be back to Cara’s place 👍. She’s done a lovely job decorating but still clutter free. The beds were comfortable and the linens soft. As noted, there is no AC but we were comfortable with the breeze through the beautiful windows and the temps were pretty mild during our summer stay. We spent most of our time out adventuring but it was a very relaxing and comfortable air bnb to come back to :). Even though there isn’t water access (as Cara did a great job confirming), the view is still so nice from the living room/balcony.

I’m so grateful that I got to experience such a special hidden oasis in this property…the space was perfect for a little getaway surrounded by nature. the property is beautiful, and jeff was SO friendly, welcoming, proactive, and responsive. I felt safe and right at home. The cold plunge pond and hot tub were PERFECT, and my inner child loved the trampoline! the land is perfect for long walks and stargazing at night under the expansive sky. There are some gorgeous hikes a short drive away too. Would highly recommend staying here for a peaceful getaway!

Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about this place. We went for a weekend to get out of town and it was amazing. Sitting on the porch, listening to the river while drinking coffee was so wonderful. She had the sweetest dog who would come visit every morning and it definitely made the trip better. Also, the toilet seat was heated so that wins. The only downfall was no smaller knives for steak and no bbq tools. At least that we could find. But, if you want a quiet place to reset this is it. Go here, you won’t regret it.

The unit was as described. Very clean and tidy both inside and outside. Host was available for any help I might’ve needed. 10/10 would recommend/stay again.

I was traveling by myself to go snowmobiling for the weekend and the place was perfect for my needs. Right in between Donnelly and McCall. Very quiet. Nice little kitchen, living room with a decent sized bedroom and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Neighbor was very friendly and helpful.

Had an incredible stay! We ended up having rain the entire weekend we were here, but it made the stay so much better! There truly was something magical about enjoying our morning coffees while looking out over the beautiful backyard and river. So stunning! Mark, Ivan, and Gina were amazing, gave great resturant recomendations and were very quick to respond. We loved our time here, and cant wait to return to idaho!

Exactly what I needed. Lovely quiet space to retreat to while attending a conference at Sun Valley Lodge. Bike paths and hiking trails right out the door, easy access to Sun Valley restaurants and such, close to Ketchum as well. Very clean and lovely, exactly as advertised.

Beautiful location, the big windows make it perfect to watch the sunrise! James was always super responsive no matter how big or little the question was. He was always helpful! I would stay here again in the future without any hesitation!

Location, location, location! The views are stunning! This home had everything needed for a recharging stay. From the hot tub, to the game room, to the fire pit, to the river access, to the kitchen amenities, to the deck with a view, to the comfortable beds, this place has it all! We felt very pampered in this pristine home. We really enjoyed the deck for sunrise coffee and evening sit-n-sips with local wine at sunset. This area has amazing wineries so close by! The homeowner was very polite, responsive and attentive to our questions or needs.

This was the perfect place to stay for a fun girls’ weekend in Salmon—beautifully situated by the river, close to downtown, and just a short drive to the hot springs.

Great little place with plenty of space for what we needed. Jeremy was a very accommodating and considerate host. Highly recommend for any large family or families who need plenty of room!

3rd time staying at the Little House by the River. The place is a slice of heaven.The views from every corner of the house are stunning. The place was spotless,as usual,and Sue left us a chocolate Easter Bunny and chocolate egg on the counter. I cooked everyday and there's an excess of cookware/bakeware in the kitchen that makes it impossible to need anything. Spending sunrise or sunset on the porch or the hammock listening to birds, especially the cooing of mourning doves, was a joy. Seeing the quails running on the spacious lot that the property is built on ( Probably a full acre ) was amazing. Neighbors are far from you so you won't hear a thing. You can even exercise by walking on the property or relax on the hammock and watch the beautiful and colorful Idaho sunset and all God's creations from nesting birds on the property to birds of prey. Dish Internet was reliable and fast, Used it daily with zero issues. Sue is the best host and a lady with a beautiful heart .

We had a great stay! The place was spacious and had plenty of beds, which made it perfect for our group. Everything was clean and comfortable, and we really appreciated how much room there was to spread out. There were quite a few house rules, but nothing unreasonable—we didn’t have any issues following them. Overall, it was a nice and peaceful spot, and we’d definitely stay again!

This was hands down the BEST rental we have ever stayed in! It had incredible amenities and the host has really thought of everything! The details were incredible, from the toy box and games down to the soap! It far exceeded our expectations!! We would love to stay here again.

Great location to walk into downtown Ketchum and ski at River Run. It’s walkable to River Run, but also very easy to use the drop off at the lodge. We did not use the shuttle, but that appeared to be nearby also. Very quiet and well appointed condo

Such a beautiful condo and an easy, gorgeous walk to Sun Valley Lodge. Nice and quick to get to Dollar Mountain for some early morning runs too! Only downside was how hard it was to find parking in front of the actual condo.

Well appointed, cozy and roomy condo in a perfect location for a group of up to 6 people wanting to explore everything downtown McCall has to offer. Would definitely stay again.

We loved staying here and would definitely stay here again! The place is adorably decorated with nice furniture and the beds are super comfy with big fluffy comforters. It felt super clean and neat. We loved the location which was walking distance from the cute SV lodge and pool and some restaurants. Parking was super easy and we easily drove back and forth to the mountain and Ketchum. The owner sent us all kinds of tips and advice about the mountain and restaurants which was super helpful since we had never been there before!

The view was amazing and made it feel like we were on vacation. Location was perfect; we were able to walk to the grocery store, restaurants and shops. The host was very responsive and friendly. They answered all our calls and accommodated our last minute requests, which we so appreciated! Would definitely stay here again!

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this location. Included everything that I needed and more. Michael was responsive to my questions and went above and beyond giving recommendations for places to go for dinner and activities besides skiing, which was the main reason I went there. I would personally recommend a Keurig coffee maker versus the Nespresso, which I had difficulty finding pods for. But there were four included which helped. Hopefully the small hole in the bathroom ceiling is patched soon, but no big deal. The hot tub was on the older side, but got the job done after a long day of skiing. The Posturepedic mattress was a nice plus in the master bedroom. A big thank you to Michael !

The condo unit was clean, modern and very well appointed. The location was very close to downtown Ketchum and a quick drive to nearby downhill ski lodges and the numerous xc ski trail systems in the area. The area is beautiful in all seasons but especially magical in the winter. We will definitely be back and I would certainly recommend this home.
