“What a great place to stay! Everything worked out better than I could have hoped. Awesome location, very comfortable, close to everything, organized and stocked with just the right amount of things you will need in the kitchen. Juan the on-site caretaker is there for anything you may need. Awesome Guy! Use Terry and JP at Cayo Inland adventure for all your airport transfers and excursions! They are related to the owner and they were amazing. Chas Iverson”

“This place is truly a hidden gem! We have stayed in lots of Airbnbs around the world and finding unique places like this with amazing hosts is what makes using AirBnb the best way to experience a new place! Pete met us in person and was incredibly friendly and helpful. The little cottage was everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable. Some of the best sleep we had all year. You get to wake up to the birds singing outside your window. The place has great hiking all around the property and is just a short drive away from San Ignacio. If you have the opportunity to stay here, book fast!!”
This is a private room with a private bath. Our home is located within 5 minutes walk to the heart of San Ignacio Town and the popular farmer's market! It is in close proximity to the highway and a safe neighborhood! Feel free to have a cup of coffee early morning on the verandah overlooking the Maya Mountains or relaxing on the hammock whilst reading your favorite book!
“Hector's place was in a quiet area right across from downtown San Ignacio (less than a 7 minute walk). The room was not fancy, but was perfect for what we needed - including AC, hot water, and beautiful Guatemalan blankets. Hector and his whole family were friendly and welcoming! We had a chance to visit Hector's farm, which was about 40 minutes away from the house. It was a beautiful space and we enjoyed sharing a meal with his family. Hector's tour was fairly informal, but you could see the dedication and love he has put into this land for the past 30 years! Note about a hot shower: make sure the switch on the shower head is all the way to the left and the water pressure is low so the water has time to heat up in the electric shower head coils.”
