Apartment at the sheltered end of the former village school. The apartment has a kitchen-living room, an open bedroom, and a bathroom. Bed for four. Double bed in the bedroom and extendable couch in the living room. The apartment has a teacher's podium and exterior stairs, so it's not accessible. The outdoor sauna heats up for an additional fee. The apartment is located in a quiet area, 8km from the center. The rest of the building is for the host's own use. There's room in the yard to hang out and grill, for example. Also great for families with children.

Amazing sauna cabin (floor area about 39 square meters) by the clear-water Valkealampi! There can be four people staying overnight. The cottage has a sandy beach , in winter an opening. You can fish in the pond or fish in the summer. You can take a dip in the lovely steam of the wood sauna. Relax in the peace of nature. Nearby there are, for example, Kontiolahti ski slopes and trails, a biathlon stadium, Paihola's disc golf course, a summer cafe (approx. 6 km), Pielisjoki and Joensuu (21km) and Kolin National Park (approx. 54km) services and activities!

In a cottage on the shore of a steamy woman, you get to spend a vacation with a unique lake landscape. The wood-burning sauna has soft steam and a view of the lake. Underfloor heating and fireplace heat in winter. Cooking with Airfryer, microwave, or on the deck with a 5-burner gas grill. Drinking water can be obtained directly from the kitchen faucet. Rent an inexpensive, modest, electrified, basic summer cottage (approx. 65 square meters) from Kangaslampi, Varkaus (the cottage is located on the south shore). Everything in the cottage is not exactly on top and in the best condition, but a basic clean cottage with everything you need. The cottage has a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, stove, gas grill. Basic tableware, TV, radio, smoke detectors.

Alapiha Arboretum Guesthouse and Sauna

Cozy guesthouse and sauna in a wild tree sport park. The area has about 250 different varieties of woody trees and shrubs on two acres. The tree was planted in 1970 and forms its own microclimate, where the air is clean and good to breathe. The area is partly still in a natural state and the area is undergoing renovation. For those interested, the arboretum will be gladly introduced during the visit. The house crowd includes two lapin reindeer dogs, a cat, a rooster, and 6 hens. Breakfast on-demand

The nearest lake is a 13-minute walk through the forest along a beautiful path.

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

There are a Loft bed for 2 people with a view, a small kitchen, fireplace, sauna on woods inside the cabin. It is great to start your day from early swimming and yoga/breakfast at the terrace listening to birds songs and finish your day with a glass of wine taking pictures of a stunning sunset.

You will always remember the rugged landscape of this destination. The property is located near Kolovesi National Park on the shore of Lake Järvesi, Lake Saimaa. The property has magnificent views, but it is only about 300 meters from the paved road. The property has neighbors. The tiny house was completed in 2025 and the sauna in the adjacent building is from 2024. The accommodation is perfect for people interested in hiking, biking, fishing, and kayaking.
