All amenities are available either in the tiny house or in the basement of the shop Dirdalstraen Gardsutsalg nearby. Named Norway’s best farm shop in 2023 and 2025, the farm shop is a small attraction in its own right. Right next door you will find a sauna that can be booked with equally good views.

The old summer barn of Hovelsrud Gård is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling grain field – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquility of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside, there is a bedroom and an open living room. Outside there is a kitchen counter with a gas burner and a grill, a small beach where you can swim, and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.

A lovely cabin on the shore of Kalkkistenkoski. On the terace you can grill, eat, enjoy the evening sun, lounge on the deck chairs or see the local bird populations. The cabin also has a sauna, hot tub and an indoor fireplace. The cabins kitchen has the essentials for cooking and the barbeque and outdoor fireplace can also be used for cooking. The kitchen and sauna have warm water and drinking water will be delivered to the cabin. The cabin has an outdoor composting toilet.
