Walk along the bird breeding area, cycle in the area, golf in Westwoud or explore VOC harbor towns Hoorn and Enkhuizen. Bus stop and parking in front of the door. 30 minutes from Amsterdam. Close to Hoorn, Enkhuizen, Amsterdam for cultural excursions; Zaanse Schans, Volendam, Edam, Monnickendam, Marken, Broek in Waterland, Twisk, Kolhorn for pittoresque villages. There is a big garden with pizza-oven, orchard, and soccer court. The farmhouse is situated near the Markermeer, great for swimming, especially known for kite-and windsurfing. The deck-house and wheelhouse in the back of a former sailing cargo-ship van 1888 is transformed into a small apartment . The rest of the boat is a shop with sailing / marine equipment and a bunker station. The entrance is due to the age of the ship a small steep stair, keep that in mind. The surrounding is a lively harbor with sail-ships and cruise-ships. There is a parking available for €5 - a night very closeby. So enjoy the sound and movements of the water!
