AMAZING all round. Emily is friendly and responsive. The cabin is clean, private, and only 40min from the Grand Canyon. Pictures do not do Emily's cabin justice. It is the perfect home base for exploring the Grand Canyon. We spent the day exploring, hiking, enjoying what the Village had to offer, then we'd finish the day with the private setting Emily's cabin had to offer. A huge reason we enjoyed our Grand Canyon adventure is because of this lovely cabin. Emily is a wonderful and thoughtful host, one of the best we've interacted with. We would love to stay here again if and when we visit the Canyon again.

Very quiet, very peaceful. Very private, mostly. There are a few neighbors but they were quiet as well, they waved as we drove by. Getting there was easy. Recommend you download the maps of the area prior to getting there as there is no cell service once you exit the Interstate. Peter also provides detailed information on getting to the house. Once you arrive at the house, WiFi works well. The upstairs bedroom is a loft but it works well. However if someone in your party likes to get up super early , or likes to stay up super late, you can hear them downstairs shuffling around. Bring earplugs if that bothers ya. The wood burning stove most definitely works to heat up the house. I had to chop up the wood into smaller pieces in order to fit the stove for burning. It was nice to see the nearby wildlife, mostly squirrels, lots of different birds, we even encountered some deer or elk on the main dirt road when we were headed up towards Grand Canyon. It was awesome. We would return!

This house was absolutely beautiful. It was a great location and close to to Uptown, West Sedona and other hikes along Rt. 179. The house and the setting were stunning. The house was modern, clean, spacious and had extremely comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms. They had every amenity you could want and the house definitely catered to guest comfort. I felt like we were staying in a luxury hotel but had the whole place to ourselves. I can't say enough about the views and the scenery. Just breathtaking. You can sit on your private deck and watch the sunset over the rocks. You won't be disappointed.

Went out there with family everyone loved it felt like home! Definitely one for the books !

We had a fantastic stay. We love the location by the trailhead in a quiet neighborhood with great views. Nice open floor plan. Spacious kitchen. Nice to have a useable garage. The covered porch was ideal on warm, sunny days. The hosts were very responsive.

We used this stay to visit the Grand Canyon and Sedona. Michael's place exceeded my expectations! I am a stickler for cleanliness, and I was super impressed with the cleanliness of all the rooms including the bathrooms. Bed linens and towels all seemed fresh and clean. The house had everything you could need. tons of extra towels and sheets if needed; even high quality bathroom products for your personal use if you need bathwash, shampoo/conditioner etc. A fully stocked kitchen. We had 2 adults and 3 kids aged 5, 11, and 13 and all enjoyed the game room as well as all the board games supplied. This is a great location with an easy 1 drive to the South Rim entrance of the Grand Canyon, just a little over and hour to sedona. and apparently flagstaff is 35-40 min perhaps? although we didn't get to visit. I highly recommend this place. Will definitely be staying here again in the future. the neighborhood is quiet and we enjoyed walking the neighborhood and the nearby Cataract Lake.

An amazing stay close (20-30 mins) to the canyon. The house was extremely well equipped with anything we could need, the snacks and coffee were a nice additional touch. Perfect for relaxing after a day out and the beds were comfy for a great night sleep. Highly recommend staying and if we visit the canyon again we will be back!! 10/10
