Anna's place is a total gem! wlWe are so grateful to have found Anna's place and having stayed there. her place was very cozy, comfortable, had a great kitchen, parking free of charge, and a grocery store walking distance (2 mins). We fell in love with Seltjarnarness because it is a beautiful town 5 mins drive from Reykjavík, felt very serene, and very residential. We definitely recommend staying at Anna's place if you want to get both the "felt right at home" with "the city life" close by. Thank you Anna!

A fantastic homely place to stay with our family including teenage grandchildren. Great local supermarket and bus service which meant we didn't need a car. Superb views including across the bay to see the erupting volcano! The BBQ and the hot tub were fabulous as was the weather. Outdoor living was just as good as indoors. Everything we needed in the kitchen was available including a well stocked fridge on our arrival. Plenty bedding and towels to facilitate changing everything during our stay.

My family of 7 loved our stay! The area was lovely and conveniently located. Run was very responsive and helpful with anything we needed! Also, we managed to see the northern lights from the garden!

Absolutely fantastic stay, at Gunnþóra's! She's very helpful and communicative. The apartment was spacious and clean and felt like a home away from home. Beautiful location across from the water and also close to downtown. We had a rental car and also used a taxi service in the evening. Everything about Gunnþóra's place is perfect.

We had a lovely stay at Sigrún’s apartment! She was super responsive and quickly brought the correct keys when there was a mix-up. The apartment is beautifully designed with great attention to detail. It seemed freshly painted, as the wall lights were still missing, but that didn’t affect the comfort. The area is quiet, the bed very comfortable, though the many scented candles might not suit those with sensitivities. Overall, a great stay—thank you, Sigrún!

Unnur is an awesome host! Her communication, responsiveness, and flexibility were top notch. Her apartment was clean and tidy overall and the kitchen was particularly well-appointed. It would be a great place for someone who wants to cook their own meals because there’s a huge grocery store a block away. The apartment was a bit further away from the city center than I expected (it may be 15 mins to the main street, but it takes another 15-30 mins to get to places like Harpa, making it a bit of a slog in rainy and often windy conditions). That said, the walk along the harbor is beautiful and it felt safe, even at night.

My daughters and I had a magical stay at Sunna's house between Christmas and New Year. The house is beautifully positioned by the water with spectacular views and a short bus ride into town. It was warm, cosy and had all we could ask for. Thanks Sunna!

Rùnar’s home is perfect to rest after an icelandic adventure. It’s warm, comfortable and nice, with an amazing ocean view (we had the chance to contemplete an eruption too!) and good markets near by. There is a delicious little fish market too, at few steps. Reykjavìk is easily reachable by walking (half an hour) or with bus and Seltjarnarnes is a peaceful and welcoming neighborhood. Rùnar and his family are helpful and kind. Thank you for sharing your home!
