After a short walk through the beautiful garden, where a lot of the herbs and spices that we were going to use later, we came to the magical place on the water where we went to cook. We learned a lot about the different dishes and we were able to write the recipes. The explanation was very clear, we were allowed to choose how tough it could be and Vinodh and his sister were very friendly and willing to answer all our questions. We ate deliciously after cooking the many authentic Singalese dishes. Super experience!

This is where the host's sister greeted us very warmly as a instructor. Our request to make the menu without fish, has already been agreed upon by the previous contact. Here, the exact explanation of the further process as well as an explanation of the products used All in all, we spent three hours cooking different dishes of a menu, laughing a lot and getting to know new things. We felt very comfortable with our hosts and later enjoyed the result of our cooking workshop together. An unmissable experience from which we were able to take a lot with us 🙏🏻

Our cooking afternoon was an exceptional experience. We were made to feel very welcome by everyone involved . Pick up and return in a tuk tuk was smooth and punctual. We learnt a lot about spices and Sri lankian cooking techniques and were invited to participate. We had a garden tour too. All the staff were friendly and shared their enthusiasm with us. Our meal included soup , various main courses and a dessert followed by lemon grass tea . Each dish was delightful in its own right. We had a very pleasant afternoon and will endeavour to use / share the recipes as soon as we get home. A really good afternoon for those wanting to escape the beach.Thank you Charles and Jane
