We were blown away by the beauty of this place- even more charming than the photos with a very relaxed and authentic ambience. The highlight for us was the rocky beach access to crystal clear water and excellent snorkeling. It’s a bit isolated - which was perfect for us, but extremely well equipped with everything you need for cooking inside and outside! We received a wonderful welcome complete with a large stock of fruits and vegetables. The only downside was it was hard to leave. Thank you for the excellent stay!

We absolutely loved this home! Surrounded by stunning nature, it’s full of charm and character—we didn’t want to leave. We booked for a week and spent two entire days just enjoying the house. The design beautifully blends modern comfort with historic charm. It’s stylish, cozy, and incredibly well-equipped—one of the best Airbnb kitchens we’ve seen! We cooked multiple meals and had everything we needed. George was a thoughtful host, leaving fresh fruits, snacks, juice, and a welcome bottle of raki. Bathrooms were clean and stocked; bedrooms had plenty of pillows, blankets, and even slippers—perfect for the cool floors. The outdoor space is a dream. We spent every morning and evening at the dining and pool area. Our dog loved the spacious garden and the friendly local cats. The lush greenery made it feel like home. Note: the road up is narrow and winding—classic Crete. It’s manageable (even with a big SUV), and the hilltop view is totally worth it. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need. Every little detail—from the fully stocked kitchen to the cozy, welcoming touches—made it feel like a true home away from home. Our host was incredibly welcoming and communicative, providing excellent recommendations and making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The location was ideal—peaceful and relaxing, yet close to great restaurants, shops, and attractions. One of the best parts was the very generous late checkout, which was absolutely perfect since we had a late flight and could relax without rushing—thank you so much for that! We especially loved sitting out on the balcony each morning with a coffee, taking in the view. It was the perfect way to unwind. We would come back in a heartbeat. Villa Myrtia was a beautiful villa that was very spacious for our family of six. Terrific swimming pool. Awesome restaurant called Souvlakia in the town center. George was extremely responsive and very friendly.

At Vagelis' arrival was like in a home, very cozy, very friendly, very helpful, always approachable and straightforward. If you're looking for peace and quiet, you'll find it here. It is an ideal starting point for excursions, not far from the beautiful beach of Episcopia, easy to reach many tavernas by car and quickly you are also in the town of Rethymno . The pool is extra large and nice for swimming, feels like a private pool ! The room service was very good, there were always fresh towels and was cleaned. It is a very simple place to stay, but it offers everything you need for everyday well-being, without much frills. The sunrises and sunsets can also be enjoyed here - right from the apartment you have fantastic views of the LEFKA ORI mountains and the olive plantations all around.
