Matt was very gracious and let us switch our dates because the first date we picked the weather was rainy and we wanted to hike the near by attractions. He was a very thoughtful host with local bakery items and a bouquet of edible herbs. He had everything there we could have possibly needed. We came over packed . It was a beautiful private setting. We look forward to returning and checking out his other glampsites.”

Deluxe camping cabin located in north east Fulton County, Pennsylvania, in the shadow of the historic Burnt Cabins Grist Mill, an operational grist mill dating to 1840. Our cabin is located within Ye Olde Mill Campground, an active, family friendly, family oriented campground.
What guests are saying:“This cabin is comfortable, clean and just what we needed for several nights while attending an event nearby. There were no issues, no hassles — it was easy and pleasant in every way. It was particularly hot during our stay and the window air conditioner was perfect and quiet. The beds are solid and comfortable, which might be a weird thing to put in a review but wobbly or shaky bunk beds detract from sleeping sometimes. We had a great stay in this cabin.”
This charming East Broadtop Railroad home, built in the 1900’s, has been restored. House includes washer/dryer. 2 full baths. Kitchen is fully stocked for cooking. Walking distance to the Historical East Broadtop Railroad and Trolley. Short distance to Lake Raystown,and State College. Beautiful golf course within 12 miles. Grocery store and restaurants near by. Quaint town for walking and sightseeing. House is unoccupied (large yard, gift shop on property and playground across the street).

The home was welcoming, the bedrooms well-furnished, and the kitchen stocked with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. It was like having a quaint bed and breakfast all to yourself. The updates were well done without taking away from the charm of an older home, and each room seemed to offer a nod to its original 1900s furnishings. The only callout I have is that for very light sleepers, the house - and its hardwoods - do create some light creaking noises (that we found comforting and familiar!) when walking throughout. Rita was responsive, helpful, and kind throughout our communication, and I only wished I had the chance to thank her in person.”
