Forest villa Shojiri Kogen is an old-style Japanese house with a traditional Japanese sunken fireplace in Shojiri City, Nagano Prefecture. At an elevation of 1000 meters, it is a quiet hideaway surrounded by trees with no other buildings within a 20-meter radius. You can relax in a spacious environment with a 1288-square-meter site, a 120-square-meter old-style house, and a 20-square-meter balcony. The tap water at Shojiri Kogen Villa is pumped up from a naturally filtered underground water source 300 meters deep on the premises and disinfected in accordance with the Water Supply Law, resulting in delicious water that can be used for drinking and cooking. ※ We recommend coming by car as there is no public transportation nearby. * Because it is a facility in a forest with a rich natural environment, insects may enter the house, and animals that do not harm people may appear outdoors. Located in the town next to Narai-juku, Nakasendo's post town, a historic town that has flourished as a region for lacquerware from the Edo period. It was selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings, and was built in 1931 in this town, where lacquerware shops are still lined up. Limited to one group per day without meals, you can use the entire house. I think the charm of Hirasawa is the beauty and richness of everyday life. It would be nice if you could stay like living in this old town, such as reading, walking, local sake (sake, wine), and sleeping slowly. There are no screen doors in an old house in the valley of the mountains, so natural creatures may come in during the warmer months. The 93-year-old building is not polished in detail.
