The strolling garden across the street, just a one-minute walk away, is said to have been called the “Oyakuen” because it was used to grow medicinal herbs for Morioka Castle. Located just before that, this house displays a sign that reads “御薬園前—Oyakuenmae—” and began offering private lodging in April 2026. We have renovated this 50-year-old building into a space that blends the old with the new.
