Vacation rentals in Sieu

We had a lovely stay with Busta and his wife. They were so friendly and helpful! Upon arrival, she took us to visit a few local sites, and shared stories about the area’s history. It was fun to see all of the beautiful textiles and clothing. They cooked us dinner, which was delicious!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille dans la maison d'Adi. La maison est très spacieuse, et les lits confortables. Un lit double supplémentaire, qui ne figurait pas sur l'annonce, se trouve dans une pièce ouverte à l'étage, si bien que nous avons pu dormir à 5 personnes sans problème, sans utiliser le salon du rez-de-chaussée comme chambre. Les parents d'Adi, qui habitent la maison voisine, sont très accueillants et parlent le français : quelle bonne surprise, même si nous avions essayé d'apprendre quelques mots en roumain ! Cela rendait les échanges d'autant plus faciles et enrichissants. La maison est bien placée pour visiter le Maramureș (Săpânța, Sighetu Marmatiei, Bârsana, Breb, Borșa, etc.).

Le logement est super, conforme aux photos. Très propre, situé dans un environnement calme proche de commerces. Ioana est très adorable et n’hésite pas à vous donner des informations en cas de besoin. Je recommande !

Ottimo host e ottima posizione della stanza, a pochi passi dal centro. Siamo stati benissimo e Adrian è stato molto cortese, comunicativo e disponibile. L'alloggio è delizioso.

My stay at Busta’s home has been the highlight of my holiday in Romania. Both Busta and her husband made me feel very welcome to their fascinating home. Busta has dedicated herself to preserving all the traditional furnishings and fabrics in the house. She was happy to show me around her weaving workshop, amazing fruit and vegetable production not forgetting the onsite still for producing țuica. She dressed me in traditional costume for a photo shoot and was happy to show me around her childhood home preserved exactly as it was at the end of WW2. On one of the nights Busta and her husband prepared a superb traditional meal with ciorba, pork, sarmale and mici not forgetting a glass of țuica. Amazing! You must include a stay at Busta’s home as part of your trip to Maramureș. Thanks so much.

Am petrecut 4 zile minunate în inima Maramureșului, într-o casă tradițională care ne-a făcut să simțim cu adevărat spiritul sărbătorilor de Paște. Atmosfera a fost de poveste — liniște, aer curat, iar designul locului păstrează cu grijă autenticul maramureșean, cu detalii din lemn lucrat manual și elemente tradiționale la tot pasul. Totul foarte curat și îngrijit, iar locul în sine are o energie aparte, caldă și sinceră, ca oamenii locului. Ne-am simțit ca acasă, poate chiar mai bine. A fost o experiență autentică, de neuitat, care ne-a reconectat cu tradițiile și natura. Recomand din suflet celor care vor să simtă Maramureșul cu adevărat.
