A unique opportunity to see and live in one of the two small, yellow, brick-heated houses by the water. The two houses were restored in 1978-79 and received in 1982 diplomas from the Association for Architectural and Landscape Culture and Europa Nostra. The two houses are still protected to this day and are mostly seen as a photo stop for tourists. The house is located right down to the water, as seen from the windows, but at the same time in the middle of the city, with life and a lot of activities. If you want to be on the beach, Kobæk beach is only 2 kilometres away.

The house has an entrance hall, bathroom/toilet with sauna, bedroom and a large kitchen/living room with alcoves. From the living room there is access to a nice large loft. The house has air conditioning and a wood-burning stove. Annex contains room with double bed. House and annex are connected by wooden terrace and there is outdoor shower with hot water. Bedroom in the house as well as loft and alcove.

This beautiful farmhouse exudes romance and rural idyll. With a wood-burning stove, thatched roof, and lots of aesthetic details. There is a courtyard with fantastic views of meadows, trees and sea, as well as a flower garden. The house is undisturbed with walking distance to the sea, grocery store and marina. In the luxurious bedroom there is a French imported vintage double bed. In the living room there is a comfortable double sofa bed, a cozy work corner, as well as an evocative dining area with a beautiful chandelier and a peasant blue table.

The beautiful Faxe Bay and Noret just outside the house set the scene for a wonderful place. The house was voted the winner of the program Denmark's most beautiful cottage on DR1 (2014). The well-appointed 50 m2, with up to 4 m to the ceiling, is perfect for a couple - but is also ideal for a family with 2-3 children. All year round, you can swim in the "Svenskerhullet" and Roneklint and the small fine island Maderne, which is owned by Nysø Castle. 10 km from Præstø. In addition, the landscape is created for beautiful walks and bike rides.

If you need to relax with your better half or a good friend in beautiful surroundings with fantastic views of the water, 150 m to the nearest swimming area and close to the beach and forest, then this beautiful gem is a good choice. There are restaurants with delicious food, Brugsen and the bakery are within walking distance and there are many sights nearby. The house is a beautiful, almost 100-year-old lady. The age also means that you should not expect a state-of-the-art, streamlined house, it has its quirks, maybe a little bump. It's a house that's lived in.

Fjordgarden - Guesthouse

Our guest house is situated only 100m from Holbæk Fjord by a little lake surrounded by trees. When you live in the house you are close to nature, with easy access to the Fjord. The fjord is often used for water sports. Bicycle- and walking routes makes it easy to take tours, and with a short distance to the center of Holbæk (5 km) you can easily experience the town. Because of the lake, just in front of the guesthouse, it is not suitable for smaller children.
