Skógafoss

Sited amidst working farmland within sight of the mighty Skogafoss waterfall. Þorsteinshus is located on the site of an old settlers´farm, Ytri Skogar. Legend has it that Þrosi the Viking lived here. His gold is reputedly hidden under the Skogafoss waterfall. The dairy and sheep farm has has been in our family for almost 60 years.

The cottage is recently renovated, lots of space and an outdoor patio. There are horses and foals at a nearby field, you are welcome to say hello to them.

Vintage farmhouse - Selkot

Classic old farmhouse located by the south coast of Iceland. Selkot has been the property of the same family since 1730. The house has been renewed and now it offers a cozy stay just beneath the glacier Eyjafjallajökull.
