The cabin is decorated in the typical Icelandic style with two bedrooms and a loft, as well as two bathrooms and an open kitchen/living area. There is also a hot tub on the property to relax after a day of travelling.

Skógafoss

Have you dreamed of staying at an Icelandic farm? As authentic as it gets. An Icelandic farmhouse built in 1906 and tastefully renovated. Sited amidst working farmland within sight of the mighty Skogafoss waterfall. Þorsteinshus is located on the site of an old settlers´farm, Ytri Skogar. Legend has it that Þrosi the Viking lived here. His gold is reputedly hidden under the Skogafoss waterfall. The dairy and sheep farm has has been in our family for almost 60 years.

Vintage farmhouse - Selkot

Classic old farmhouse located by the south coast of Iceland. Selkot has been the property of the same family since 1730. The house has been renewed and now it offers a cozy stay just beneath the glacier Eyjafjallajökull.
