Vacation rentals with a firepit in Songak-myeon

Picture perfect place, amazing to stay in such a historic home. So many superb sites literally on your doorstep, as well as cute cafes and restaurants. So many lovely and thoughtful amenities available in the place. Please do check the room layout as one bathroom is accessed off the courtyard - this would not be much fun in winter. Also note that it's a restored Hanok so there are some quirks (which are a given when staying in a beautiful old place like this); tall people need to watch themselves on the doors and the bathrooms are wetrooms with shower over toilet. Overall this was an incredible stay, a perfect short taste of the old Korea.

Welcoming, generous, and bilingual host. Clearly takes pride in maintaining the gardens and the house interior and cleanliness. Top-notch appliances and furnishings. Mattresses were a bit hard and the bath towels a bit small but maybe this is better-suited for local Korean preferences. Once you arrive at Louie House, you feel you have everything you need.

It was the perfect place to stay with family! They prepared well for us to have a barbecue even in bad weather, so we were able to fully enjoy it ~ There were neat tableware and baby tableware, so it was a lodging full of consideration for guests! I really want to stay on my next family trip ^ ^ *

I can not express enough how absolutely perfect this place is, and how great of a host KJ and Paul were. I really think AirBNB should hire them to teach more hosts on how to really make the experience memorable! The Hanok very traditional on the outside, but absolutely renovated in the inside. Everything from new bidet toilets to extensively stocked cabinets you won't need much as far as toiletries and necessities. KJ and Paul went out of the way to have us picked up from the airport, to local restaurant recommendations that were excellent. The homes location is a perfect jumping point to the best castles and shrines, all with excellent markets and shopping within walking distance. Really this is the place to book if you are in Seoul I promise you will be amazed.

Best spot in Seoul if you love nature and hiking, plus there are amazing bakeries, cafes, restaurants, and museums within a few minutes walk. The house is lovely and peaceful and the host is very kind and welcoming. I would love to stay again! Thank you Jinsoon!

We stayed at a few places during our vacation in South Korea and here was the best one and best way to end the trip! The host's mom met us and was so helpful and just a really sweet and amazing host. She gave us three apples and was so thoughtful and showed us where everything was. The place was clean, comfortable and very central! Would definitely stay here if ever I visit! Definitely book this location!
