Sound bath and meditation with a Reiki master

You’re invited for a special session at Mindful Music Lab, my recording studio and spiritual space that promotes relaxation and healing. I’ll use my expertise as a reiki master and mental health coach to guide you through a holistic experience focused on wellness and mindfulness in everyday life. • Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with tea and a grounding ritual using essential oils. As you take a moment to set your intentions and personal goals for the day, I’ll lead you through a tarot card selection. • Next, we’ll relax with a soothing sound bath. The vibrations of crystal bowls will create a calming atmosphere, promoting deep relaxation and stress relief. • The primary part of this session includes a guided breathing and meditation exercise — designed to ease tension and enhance mindfulness — followed by reiki, a Japanese healing technique involving gentle touch to promote well-being. Before we part ways, I’ll read from the card you selected at the beginning of our journey and share tips for integrating mindfulness into your daily life.

José Parlá’s private tour of Art Basel Miami Beach

I'm excited to welcome you to my hometown of Miami for a guided tour to Art Basel Miami Beach 2024, where several of my artworks are on display, including my latest large-scale painting, Pathways. On our private tour, you’ll have a chance to dive into my world, explore my creative process, and we’ll wrap up with refreshments and my favorite Cuban vinyl records in the fair’s private lounge. • We’ll meet before the fair opens, and I’ll personally share the inspirations and stories behind my latest work on display at Ben Brown Fine Arts. • Then, we’ll visit my recent large-scale painting, Pathways, featured in the Meridians sector dedicated to monumental installations. You’ll gain insight into my creative process and the dynamic, dance-like technique I use in my painting. • As the fair opens to the public, we’ll head to the private outdoor lounge on the Banyan Tree Terrace, where I’ll play a selection of my favorite Cuban vinyl records as we enjoy Cuban fare and drinks. • I’ll share exciting stories about my solo exhibition, Homecoming, at the Pérez Art Museum Miami, created as a homage to my home city. Creative dining experience at Art Basel Miami Beach

Join me for an intimate dining experience that blends art, history, and food into a multisensory journey that perfectly captures the spirit of Art Basel Miami Beach. This luncheon will take place in a hidden pop-up restaurant adorned with my culinary ice sculptures in the fair’s Collector’s Lounge. I’m excited to create an experience that invites you to engage with art and food in an entirely new way. • You’ll enjoy five courses that take you through a journey of flavors, anecdotes, and history involving a selection of tropical elements—pineapple, corn, cassava, cacao, and coconut. • When you arrive, you'll be greeted with a roasted abacaxi starter and refreshing pineapple welcome drink and learn about the fruit’s symbolism and origins in Latin America. • Next, we'll indulge in fresh corn tortilla tacos and experience the richness of a mole sauce. We’ll talk about cacao and the connection between food and the earth, and how Indigenous people have wisely worked with nature to develop ingredients like corn and cassava. • For dessert, you’ll hear about the cultural significance of coconut while enjoying a delicious coconut-based creation.

Studio visit and photo workshop at Bakehouse Art Complex

Join me and the Bakehouse photographers, Diana Espín and Pedro Wazzan, for a special studio visit and smartphone photography workshop at Bakehouse Art Complex, Miami’s oldest and largest artist-serving organization. You’ll connect with fellow creatives, sharpen your photography skills, and create your own prints to showcase at a pop-up exhibit at the Bakehouse during Art Basel Miami Beach weekend. • When you arrive, you’ll be given access to Diana and Pedro’s studios as they discuss their creative process and approach to photography. • After the studio visit, the artists will lead a photography workshop with emphasis on portraiture and the built environment. You’ll put your new skills to use right away capturing the Bakehouse's unique interiors and exteriors as a former Art Deco-era industrial bakery. • We’ll help select your image to feature in a special pop-up exhibition in our space and introduce you to basic printing techniques. • Once the images are printed, you’ll collaborate with me, Diana, and Pedro to install your work for a temporary exhibit during Art Basel Miami Beach weekend. We’ll document the exhibition and share photos on the Bakehouse’s social channels. As a keepsake from your day as a Bakehouse artist, you’ll also take home a printed copy of your best shot. Astronomy Tour

Discover the wonders of the night sky just outside of Boulder with our all-ages tour! Accessible by car, Taxi, Lyft & Uber, the tour starts at sunset and lasts for 2 hours. A professional astronomer will guide you through the cosmos with several large telescopes and a laser pointer. We will explore the wonders of our universe including planets, constellations, star navigation, satellites, nebula, clusters, galaxies, and even shooting stars (if lucky). You'll be able to take in the breathtaking beauty of these celestial objects through our telescopes with your own eyes. The tour takes place at an easy-to-find trailhead, and there's no hiking required. You'll have the chance to see phenomenal sunsets and wildlife in the area. We provide our guests with a red flashlight, comfy camp seating, bug spray, and bottled water (upon request). We encourage our guests to bring questions, a sense of wonder, and warm clothing (as it can get cool after sunset). We can accommodate most requests for availability to fit your travel plans (the sooner the request, the better - we prefer to have at least 1 week's notice). Downtown Sunset Kayak with 1.5M Bats!

Welcome to Austin's #1 booked tour! I can say with confidence this is the best group on the water. Oct 23rd update: Bats are still here and good. operating 5 days a week now. Pick a date that works! Let's meet up for an epic night of kayaking. It's 4 incredible trips in one. 1st you paddle the length of downtown during the day and then we catch the sunset over the water. The bats are the main event and we end with downtown paddle at night! Add in a full moon or bright stars occasionally and this trip is one not to miss! If trip is sold out, ask if I can fit you in. About 20 minutes east of Dillon, CO is the beautiful Loveland Pass and the Continental Divide, where I'll take you up past 11,000 ft. elevation to get some of the most breath-taking views that one can simply drive to. Wild flowers grow abundantly in the summer, changing leaves are visible in the fall, and the views on a clear winter day are unbeatable. Please join me as we tour the grounds and photograph your experience any time of year! Designed for adventurous couples or groups, or a single person looking to document their time in this spectacular landscape! Be prepared to be active & in front of the camera as we capture precious moments touring around the mountain pass! Things to note: - Transportation is not included in this experience. Denver's Top Guided Hiking Tour - Hiking in the Rockies

We are Denver local hiking enthusiasts who love to take guests of all levels of experience to low traffic trails with breathtaking views all year round! We are the original Denver guided hiking tour. We start our adventure at one of Denver's best coffee shops, in the Highlands neighborhood, minutes from downtown. We will customize the hike based on the preferences of the group and the current trail conditions. We'll connect with nature, soak in the sunshine, see jaw dropping mountain views, maybe see some wildlife, take snack and water breaks, learn about the wildflowers and trees, make new friends, get some exercise and breathe in the fresh mountain air! We will take amazing photos (check out our insta @hikingintherockies) and send them to you at the end of the hike for memories that will last a lifetime. Our hope is that you'll feel healthier and happier after spending time hiking with us and connecting with the beauty of Colorado. There will be an optional group lunch after the hike or you can buy lunch at the coffee shop and eat at a picturesque spot on the trail. The guided hike's elevation will be somewhere between 6,000 and 12,000 ft. A car is not required for this experience, but we encourage guests to provide their own transportation. If that is not possible, we are happy to drive you in our car and we will return to the meeting spot at the end of the tour.

Handcraft a Unique Ring with Traditional Silversmithing

In this beginner Silversmithing class, you will pick out your own stone and create the setting and ring band. We'll get familiar with the torch, jeweler's saw, flex shaft drill, anvil & bench pin, together. We'll solder the bezel, cut out the setting and file it flat. Then we create your ring shank according to your own size and solder them together. We'll finish your ring by setting the stone and polishing the piece. All finished work is in sterling silver and you get to go home with a brand new ring! Patience is required. No experience necessary. *Other things to note* Please dress for the occasion! We'll be sawing metal and using messy materials. Don't wear anything dangly and please have closed toe shoes on. This activity is hands on and messy! Also to note: long fingernails could make this a little harder, but it is doable!

Coin and Spoon Ring Crafting

Welcome to the Colorado chapter of an Experience I hatched in California. It was so fun (well I thought so) that I outfitted a shop here to keep it going. The overall process takes about an hour per guest. We get to explore the fascinating and enjoyable process of folding a coin into a ring. The spoon ring process is similar and a bit simpler. I have lots of coins and spoons to choose from, which are included in your Experience. If you have a coin or spoon of your own, it is quite possible we can turn it into a one-of-a-kind treasure. Please make sure your coin is non-magnetic and at least the size of a quarter. Smaller spoons, like a demitasse, are much easier to craft into a ring. A commentary on children: While I'm sure your little darlings are brilliant, perfectly behaved and have an infinite attention span, they probably don't have the body mass or strength to effectively work the tooling. This is fuzzy math, of course, so I'll let you be the judge. You will be entering the No Tipping Zone so let's just make amazing things and tell lies without that concern hanging in the background. PLEASE READ: My posted times are flexible but I had to put something out there. If need be I can probably slide the timing to accommodate your day. I hope to hear from you! Chris

Cuddle with Kunekune Pigs for Adults Only

***Follow @halbertfarm on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitch for updates and to meet the pigs before your visit*** This experience is for 18+ only. Message us if you want to book a kids experience. We will start the experience in the backyard where you will meet Ripley the house pig. You'll learn about the history of Kunekune pigs and what makes them so unique. If we have younger pigs that are living in the backyard you'll get to meet them then too. I'll have treats prepared for you to feed the pigs and you'll learn how to make them sit and get their treats. Then I'll take you to meet the adult pigs first the girls and then the boys. We have 20 pigs that make up "Halbert Herd" and their ages range from 4 months to 9 years. You'll get to feed the adults treats and they love getting attention and being petted. Most of them will lay down and want their belly rubbed. If we have piglets you'll get to spend time in the piglet pen, depending on their age, you may be able to feed them treats and when they get to be about 3 weeks old they will crawl on your lap. Other things to note Make sure to wear closed toes shoes, pigs like to chew on toes. Rain, hiking, mud boots are great options. You will get dirty and we will be outside. Pay attention to the weather and dress accordingly. Long pants work better even when its hot because we may walk in tall grass in the pastures.
