This home was created for my wife (Sarah) after we received difficult news of her cancer diagnosis (Ewing Sarcoma) while pregnant. We were able to create an uplifting environment to support her as she battled courageously. Unable to leave the home much, we decided to bring life's beauty to her within the home and around the property. Sarah was the ultimate host who loved to bring people together. We now visit for my little kids to remember their mom. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

The home features a fun design with two bedrooms with Casper Queen size mattresses, two full bathrooms, tv room, dining room with sitting area, kitchen, laundry room, attached garage, a back deck to enjoy your morning coffee, outside dining area and fire pit to enjoy the nightly stars.

This home is centrally located with a 'retreat-like' atmosphere. Bike rental available for $20 per bike per stay. Listen to the flowing water of the Chippewa River only 100 feet from the deck and hear the bird songs of a variety of species while enjoying your morning coffee or afternoon beverages. If your lucky you may catch a glimpse of any number of different wildlife living along this stretch of river.

The Coop at Vintage Grove Family Farm

Welcome! This charming little house is a repurposed chicken coop on the farm. Enjoy the quiet, country life with all the comforts from home. The Coop is located between the main house and the large barn on a small hobby farm. This is a working farm with large and small animals, however, there are no hens in the guest house! During your stay, you are welcome to wander through the barn and visit all the animals. We do not have a TV, however, the internet works great!

It features hardwood floors, cathedral ceilings, furnished in a comfy mix of old and new, electric fireplace, new appliances, and remodeled bathroom with large walk in shower. Our home is a few blocks to downtown Clare where you will find unique local shops, eateries, and entertainment.
