Nearby is Breiavatnet, the train station and the bus terminal, and there is also a short walking distance to many restaurants, a rich cultural offer and hiking opportunities. In the backyard there is access to a common patio. The airy living room is in an open solution to a practical kitchen, and in the living room there is also a foldable staircase up to a loft/alcove of approx. 6 sqm.

Alt av fasiliteter er tilgjengelig enten i minihuset eller i kjelleren til butikken Dirdalstraen Gardsutsalg like ved. Gårdsutsalget ble i 2023 og 2025 kåret til Norges beste gårdsbutikk og er en liten attraksjon i seg selv. Rett ved siden finner du en badstue som kan bookes med like god utsikt.

Buildings and furniture are made by the renowned architect Espen Surnevik. If you come by boat there is plenty of room for the boat at the jetty. The boathouse is part of Sokn Gard (see fb) which has many animals you can visit, and the farm has 5 km of hiking trails.
