From Skutvik, there is a fast boat to Bodø and Svolvær all year round, and in the summer there is a ferry to Svolvær (Lofoten). Bojastua is a lived-in house with charm, crooked floors, a steep staircase and nostalgia. There is a lot of life and history in these walls. Hamarøy is known for its fantastic nature and endless hiking opportunities, which are absolutely worth experiencing.

Welcome to Breidablikk – a peaceful sanctuary on Engeløya. The house is secluded on an old farmstead in the village of Bø, surrounded by beautiful nature and cultural landscapes. Here you live privately and secludedly, but still within cycling distance of spectacular beaches, mountain hikes, and the war museum. The former farmhouse was renovated in 2026 and now houses three modern rental units with character, history and proximity to everything Engeløya has to offer. The midnight sun comes in on this side of the island, so this is the place to stay.

Therefore, we have built three small cabins/houses, with large glass surfaces everywhere, so that you can sit inside and enjoy the mountains, the horizon, the sea, the sunsets and the midnight sun. Now it's not always sunny on the island, so we have a nice sofa, which can be daybed too, for moments when you want to sit inside under the blanket, look at the rain and the wind, but still get a great experience of the changing nature.
