“My grandparents live in a small town about 15 minutes from Stites called Clearwater. We have large family and usually stay in campers and tents at my grandparents house. Having a place to stay that is close to them is a much better alternative! Troys cabins are BEAUTIFUL. He built them in himself and his craftsmanship is impeccable. Some of the furniture was built from the old 1900s home that used to sit on the lot and it’s gorgeous! The cabin has everything you need. I love that the loft sleeping area has a half bath, it makes it easier for night time bathroom trips! The washer and dryer are an extra bonus and they even provide detergent. You can tell that Troy puts a lot of thought into making his guests stay feel like they are at home. The serenity of the cabin is unreal! You can hear the trickling of the river sitting outside in the cute little sitting area on the cabins property. I already can’t wait for our next visit!”
New cozy cottage set in the pines with beautiful views of mountains, prairie, and wildlife. Set on 23 acres, it enjoys a tranquil setting with a walking/biking trail. Yet, it's only 6 minutes to Grangeville. Breakfast of yogurt, juice, fruit, coffee, oatmeal, cereal, milk, toast and eggs (you cook) is included. Portable crib and highchair available. Preschooler toys. Free WiFi. Cell phone coverage is spotty. Texting works, calls are iffy. You can use our land line.
“Relaxing with beautiful views. Nathalie thought of everything we could want. Kitchen was amply stocked with fruit, juice, eggs, bread, coffee etc. Any condiment you might need. She even bought dark roast coffee beans because I mentioned I liked dark coffee. Lots of fluffy white towels, extra blankets and plenty of hangers in the closet. Everything was sparkling clean. Nathalie responded promptly to any question we had. Nathalie warned us there was no cell reception but internet worked great so we just used Skype to make calls. Quiet but just off the main road. Highly recommend this lovely place.”
800 sq. ft studio apartment. Off the beaten path. Quiet and private. Abundant wildlife, beautiful river canyon views, 1 mi. to the SF Clearwater River known for Salmon and Steelhead fishing. A/C, Wi-Fi, fire ring, washer/drier, fully setup kitchen, satellite TV, Weber gas BBQ, trailer parking.
“Absolutely perfect spot to stay, on any type of trip! My father and I stayed at Erin’s place while fishing for steelhead in February ‘20. This space allowed us to roll in after a long day on the water, enjoy a home cooked meal, and hangout in the comforts of home. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Erin and her husband, Justin, were awesome hosts! Their place was comfortable, convenient and thoroughly relaxing! Highly recommended!”
