The cabin can also be base for exploring the region, with a short distance to the Art Nouveau city of Ålesund, beautiful Geiranger or the bird mountain at Runde. The cabin is the forest where you can wake up in the morning by the birds singing. Central for day trips to Geiranger, Trollstigen, Ålesund, Strandafjellet, Stryn, Olden, Loen, Stad, Norangsdalen, Runde etc. Path to Helsetkopen and the mountain area around Geirangerfjord goes 50 m from the cabin. Starting point for trips to famous mountains such as Slogen, Hornindalrokken, Kvitegga, etc.
