We loved it! The house is beautiful with wonderful view of the fjord. Well stocked kitchen, the bed is comfortable. Erla came to say hi and gave us some useful information about the west Fjords, we really appreciated it! Would definitely recommend her, thanks :)

We had a great stay! The place was very clean and conveniently located for exploring the western region of Iceland. It’s important to note that there aren’t many dining options nearby, so plan accordingly. The space itself was comfortable, and it was fun to meet other travelers. We appreciated that the bedroom door could be locked, which made us feel secure. The Airbnb is located on a working farm, offering a unique opportunity to get a glimpse into Iceland’s agricultural industry. Overall, a wonderful experience and highly recommended for those looking to explore the area!

Very Cosy private home, it was great meeting Eydis' dad, who supported us with some great recommendations! The house was a perfect stopover on our way to Isafjördur. As there is no infrastructure (restaurants, shops etc), you need to bring some food for dinners and breakfast. Kitchen and bath might be shared by other travelers, e.g. we enjoyed meeting a family from Italy. We enjoyed the very quiet nights in this beautiful scenerie!

Skúli’s place was so comfortable and homey that I would recommend it to anyone! Very quiet and peaceful, plus a great view for the northern lights!

We booked the place for two at the end of December and, due to a previous heavy blizzard, were able to use the entire front guest house alone. There are 2 guest houses, each with 5 rooms. At full capacity, 12 guests could be accommodated. The first floor has underfloor heating, a very well-equipped kitchen, a spacious bathroom, an open living/dining area and a bedroom. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, as well as a bathroom. The surrounding area itself is very quiet, spacious and very nice. From the terrace you can let your gaze wander over the fields, mountains and the sea inlet in the foreground. In the snowy winter everything looks very nice! In addition, we had the pleasure of meeting Blær. A very gentle Icelandic horse of the family. We very much enjoyed our time and would not hesitate to book the place again. Thanks Erla, you were a great host!

We want to thank Erla for the stay, she waited us for the check in to explain the house’s rules and to suggest us things to do. The guest house was spacious and we were lucky to be alone in the entire house. We felt at home!
