A 125-year-old farmhouse renovated using traditional construction methods. It is located at the foot of Mount Hayachine, one of Japan's 100 famous mountains, and is surrounded by vineyards and fields. We accept reservations for exclusive use of the entire house by one group per day. The house can accommodate up to 10 guests. It is often used as a base for trips to Tohoku by classmates, company colleagues, and multiple families. Please relax together in the spacious area. Of course, even if you are traveling alone, you can book the entire house. The rates for children in elementary school (12 years old) or younger are as follows. Due to the specifications of the Airbnb booking system, these rates cannot be reflected at the time of booking. The wooden deck is accessible from the living room on the first floor and from the garden. The wood deck is equipped with a large gas grill for barbecuing, a table for large groups, and chairs. If you wish to use it, please bring your own food and enjoy a barbecue. Our inn is about a 15-minute drive from Iwakagami Taira.It is also ideal as a base for mountain climbing or photography when you want to leave early in the morning without hesitation, avoiding the early morning crowds and car restrictions. After enjoying a hike in the mountains, take the "discount ticket for a nearby hot spring" that we will provide to the hot spring. When you come back, you can gaze at the clear autumn sky with a beer in one hand, or relax while watching a movie and reflecting on your mountain hike. In the morning, brew coffee while listening to the birds, get your climbing gear ready, or just gaze at the mountains. The strolling garden across the street, just a one-minute walk away, is said to have been called the “Oyakuen” because it was used to grow medicinal herbs for Morioka Castle. Located just before that, this house displays a sign that reads “御薬園前—Oyakuenmae—” and began offering private lodging in April 2026. We have renovated this 50-year-old building into a space that blends the old with the new.
