We had a truly wonderful stay at Dena’s home. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas, creating a warm and festive atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The attention to detail and thoughtful gestures were remarkable. From the coffee and bedside waters to the abundance of toiletries, every aspect of our stay was well thought out. We were especially touched by the surprise Christmas gifts waiting under the tree, which added such a special and personal touch to our visit. The hospitality exceeded all expectations, and we highly recommend their home to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. We look forward to visiting again in the future!

This isn't my first time staying at this location but like always it was great and made for great memories. Location makes for a peaceful get away for family or for friends to do some serious fishing. This time my wife and kids enjoyed some smores and hotdogs over a fire while celebrating catching their first fish. Was an awesome time and I look forward to coming back again.

Dan and Sam were very friendly, responsive hosts. The house and setting were beautiful and perfect for a family. The toys and books in the kids' room were a huge hit, and we all enjoyed the ample outdoor seating and very comfy beds. The ferry was super convenient and fun to watch, without actually hearing any traffic. And we saw so many osprey and bald eagles from the porch! I was charged with finding a rental for 6 adults and 3 kids, and each adult (and my kids) told me that this home was a gem! I'm so grateful to Dan and Sam for sharing their home with our family!

We had a wonderful stay at Maureen’s place! The home was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well equipped. We appreciated the thoughtful touches for our kids (Easter candy). We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you again for everything!

Amanda’s house was the perfect venue for our girls’ weekend. There was plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the relaxing view and breeze. Bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas were spacious.

This place is a hidden gem! We spent a weekend getaway at Jeffrey's and had the most amazing time in the middle of the woods, right by the James River. The private river beach is absolutely stunning—our toddler loved collecting shells and exploring the scenic trail that winds through the area. The house itself is beautifully designed and extremely well-equipped, with thoughtful touches throughout—from the large, light-filled windows to the outdoor grill and cozy fireplace. It's also very kid-friendly, making it a perfect retreat for families. We couldn't have asked for a better escape into nature! We drove from VB to Williamsburg for lunch and took the free ferry with our cars to the Airbnb. You can surely drive to the Airbnb directly as well but the touch of ferry was great!

Elli & Brent’s place on the James River was a beautiful spot for our family vacation. Our arrival was wonderful as our hosts had left us a cute note and treats to enjoy. The house had plenty of room for our group of 6, especially with the outdoor space/dock and the home theater, which might have been the kids favorite room. The property was conveniently just a quarter mile away from the ferry so Jamestown/Yorktown/Willliamsburg/Busch Gardens were easily accessible. Really an excellent place from which to visit the triangle and get some nice rest and relaxation in between. Thanks guys for such a lovely visit.

The entrance is in the mid-exterior of the car wash where the clients clean their cars. After you park, you have to walk with all of your luggage through the car wash's exterior (amidst client cleaning their cars) and go up many stairs. But when you enter the loft, you are extremely surprised by the beautiful, modern and clean space. Chandler was available every time I needed clarity on instructions. Bring your own food and beverages. There is a pool nearby which is available. Even though there are minimal eateries in the immediate community, there are places within short distance (mall, movies, restaurants) and there is always Virginia Beach.

This was a PERFECT stay for us! We were traveling from Florida to Michigan, but made a pit stop in Richmond to visit a friend. We had our 2 dogs with us and needed an easy and comfortable spot for all of us. This Airbnb was clean, had cute decor, super easy to check in with crystal clear instructions, very friendly host, and a great location for pets! The backyard where the entrance was is huge and absolutely stunning. Our doggos loved it. I also loved her coffee station setup. So essential! Thanks again for a lovely stay!

Location, location, location. We weren't going to Busch Gardens, but if we were this condo would have been an easy drive. We were in the area for a birthday celebration, and the condo easily accommodated 3 couples. Dining in Williamsburg was about an 11 minute drive.

The apartment is cute and very modern. Everything was clean. The neighbors were friendly. The video was a novel idea for check-in.

This is my new place to come for some away time. It was quaint and peaceful. It is an older place, but that was part of the charm. This place is focused on peace and rest. The location is good. It’s very walkable and LOTS of restaurants near. Very close to Norfolk Waterside…Just a $8 round trip ferry ride away. The bed was soft and i slept well. The host was very nice. A wonderful touch was some fresh muffins. It was a great getaway and I will DEFINITELY be back.

OK, Cindy‘s unit was by far the best one bedroom unit that I have stayed in. It is the second best unit I’ve stayed in overall! It was squeaky clean, very cozy and inviting, very quiet, and it was good for sleeping and relaxing.If you have the opportunity to book this unit, don’t hesitate! I will say there are a number of stairs in order to get into the unit, but other than that wow, simply wow!

Steff’s place had all the right touches, from the soft comfy bedding to the Nintendo console. It felt like home, cozy and comfortable. The amenities were very thoughtful, especially the bacon & eggs as well as pizzas in the fridge. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

Plenty of space for our family of 7. We were close to all the things we wanted to do in the area.

The stay overall was really good. Very fast response times. The kitchen was really nice along with having a washer and dryer. the location was great. It was 30-45 minutes from anywhere you'd want to visit and only a few minutes from shoping and eating. The cleanliness was just okay. The handrail at the bottom of the stairs was also loose though it looked like an attempt to repair it had been made.

I have nothing but positives to say about this place, the location, and Merlyn, it was all just perfect! From the clear, friendly and helpful instructions prior to arrival, the sign greeting us in the parking lot saying "Welcome Teigre family", to discovering that there was coffee in the kitchen for us in the morning (we weren't sure about this, but that's really great when you get in really late the night before), to our boys playing ball on the beach (beach toys available in the gym), my wife and I enjoying our coffee on the beach in the morning, to our friendly chat as we bumped into Rick & Merlyn, the hosts, all through to our check-out. Driving downtown was a 20 minute easy drive, we spent quite a bit of our time there, so it was nice to stay at a place on the beach. If we ever come back to Norfolk, VA, we would love to stay here again and we can highly recommend it and its wonderful hosts for anyone who comes to the area!

Absolutely loved the place. So many accommodations and centrally located. It would be impossible to find something better. Will definitely be back.

Very nice place. The unit has everything you need. Is close to the city. Robert was very helpful. We don’t used the facilities and did not go to the activities for being short time but they have a lot. Great place.
