You will experience the tranquility of the rural area, although you will hear and see the cows, chickens, pigs and machines. Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Luka's Hut, eco-cabin with sauna by the river

Luka's Hut, our beautiful eco-cabin, sits on the banks of the Ganzendiep river in Overijssel. Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.

Elburg - Fortress "Bij de jufferen"

This monumental residence (1850) with many authentic details is located in the medieval fortress of Elburg. On the first floor is the private entrance. You can also put your bikes there. On the first floor (old steep staircase😉) you will find a cozy living room with kitchen. Also here is the staircase to the loft where the bedroom is. You have access to your own kitchen with ( simple) cooking facilities. The green rampart is 50 meters away and you have a view of the historic church tower

A living room and a complete kitchen. In our bedroom with mural, there is room for two people. The house is also equipped with a shower, toilet and washing machine.

Culture and culinary experiences are plentiful in the area. Downstairs, everything is on the ground floor. People with physical disabilities are also welcome. (Help from the host, is possible based on availability. He is a nurse) Pets are not allowed (except for service dogs). No parties! No smoking in the house.
