Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Tanzania

A nice spacious two-bedroom apartment. I enjoyed my stay there, and the host was very responsive (which makes a difference). It isn't too far away from the main road in Mikocheni, where Palm Village Mall offers various shops (supermarkets and restaurants). I would recommend this apartment; the service was good.

This has to be my favorite spot to stay in Arusha. I would recommend it. The night campfire was amazing. I’m definitely coming back 2025.

Forest, nature, a place built by hand with love and wisdom... Two different species of monkeys foraging in the tress above on the same tree as Hornbills.. this place is piece of magic. The perfect spot for meditation, writing, relaxing... letting nature heal you. One of my favorite Airbnb's of all time!

Wirklich ein traumhaftes Esemble mitten in einer ruhigen und schönen Landschaft. Die Kommunikation mit Lesley, sowie Ruth und William war total problemlos und sehr freundlich. Für ein paar Tage abschalten und die traumhafte Umgebung geniessen, genau der richtige Ort.

What a fantastic place nestled on the foothills of Mount Meru, perched on a hilltop, and surrounded by lush vegetation. Julian was a great and welcoming host. The fireplace made the place extra cozy.

We enjoyed our stay in Kelvin‘s house. It is in a quiet area a little bit outside the city Center. But it’s a safe area, in which you are surrounded by locals but you can still walk around safely. Kelvin is really welcoming and always available if you need something. Because Google maps can’t locate the place correctly, we would advice that you call Kelvin when you are on your way to the house, so that he can give your driver the instructions. That’s how we did it and it worked without complications. We also went for three days on Safari and Kelvin gave us the opportunity that we can leave some of our luggage in his place, which was really kind and helpful. Also in the evening you can sit outside together and have long conversations. We would recommend this place!

Out of all the places I’ve stayed in Arusha, Abdallah’s place stands out as the best. Everything felt just right — the space was clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully arranged. The gym was a huge bonus, helping me stay consistent with my routine, and the chessboard made it feel like more than just a stay — it felt like home. There’s a quiet energy here that inspires focus, rest, and reflection. Abdallah is a top-tier host: respectful, helpful, and genuinely caring. Whether you’re here to unwind, stay active, or simply find a grounding base, this spot has it all. I left feeling refreshed, centered, and grateful. Nous sommes arrivés assez tard à Lushoto et devions trouver un autre airbnb que celui que nous avions prévu : dès que nous avons réservé le airbnb de Crispin, nous avons pu communiquer avec lui très vite. Il nous a donné toutes les explications et quelqu'un nous a précédé en mobylette pour nous montrer le chemin. L'endroit est calme, magnifique, impeccable et nous pouvons jouir d'un emplacement exceptionnel avec une vue à 360° sur la montagne environnante. L'endroit est vraiment très propre et contient tout ce qu'il faut pour passer une bon séjour dans ces environs tellement paisibles. Crispin m'a même aidée au téléphone en m'expliquant clairement la façon d'employer le four! Si nous revenons à Lushoto, c'est sûr que nous reviendrons ici. A conseiller à 200 %.

The garden is large and lush, which we enjoyed to the fullest around the bonfire, BBQ, and Easter egg hunt, much to the delight of the kids (who also loved the big trampoline!).
