“Great spot, hands down great value. It was 6 of us at the cottage, and everything was very clean with nice touches throughout. Good policies in place during COVID, which were simple to follow, not too overwhelming. I would recommend looking ahead for boat or canoe rentals, as we did feel we were missing something to do in the water, even though we spent all day in it, temperature was great for mid June! Bring extra floaters and stuff to hang around in the water. The cottage itself was very comfortable for all of us. Kitchen is fully equipped. We were able to cook home made meals all weekend long. We absolutely recommend it for a nice escape from the City. Thank you for hosting us Candice!”
Modern cottage with sunset views of Georgian Bay right on the paved Tay Shore Trail for running/biking/snowshoeing. Newly renovated from top to bottom! Enjoy the 500 sqft deck with year round Hot Tub, BBQ, sun loungers and patio table. Fire pit in the backyard. The house is on a large lot surrounded by evergreens for privacy. Across the trail you can access the water, 5 min walk to a sandy beach. 1.5hrs from Toronto, 30mins north of Barrie, 12mins to Mt St Louis Moonstone for skiing.
“Awesome quiet spot on Georgian Bay. Cozy yet stylish. Came with my family (husband and daughter) to enjoy the outdoors for a few days. Can see the lake from the deck and it's a very close walk to a sandy beach. Seconds from the Tay trail which is awesome for biking, walking and exploring. Great space - very comfortable beds, great A/C, great kitchen space. To note there is 1 bathroom so maybe tight if 8 people had to share a washroom (but doable) and no bath (just a shower) so if you have a young kid may need to bring a blow up. Kitchen - great selection of pots/pans for cooking needs but to note bring your own kitchen spices and olive oil etc. Great outdoor deck and BBQ. Overall, would love to come back! Thank you!”
Stay in our charming stone cottage conveniently located in central Midland. Just a short walk to our picturesque downtown and beautiful Little Lake Park. Our house is cozy and comfortable - perfect for 4 people. We welcome all.
“This heritage cottage is in a wonderful location in town.Quaint with plenty of room for 4 adults. Lovely porch to sit out on any time of the day. Books to look at , games available to use. Music , movies . The only drawback is like a lot of places it only has 1 bathroom for 4 adults. A half bath more would be nice at times. Would stay here again though! John and Cathy are quick to respond if you have any questions. Enjoyed our stay very much!!”
