Hang out at the lake for great people watching, a 3 mile walk/jog, a dip in the lake, or a trip to Evans Pool. Rent a paddle boat - Green Lake boat house is behind the tennis courts. Parking can be dicey in the tiny parking lot, so be prepared to drive around looking for a space or park on a neighborhood street. (5 min away)

Green Lake Park is the largest lake park in the North Seattle area. Like a mini “Central Park”, Green Lake is a beautiful green respite in the middle an urban crawl of restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. There is a fully accessible 2.8 mile biking/walking path around the lake plus virtually everything you could imagine in a great lake park: boating, swimming, soccer and baseball fields, basketball and tennis courts, fishing, art in the park, children’s play areas, pools, BBQ setups, a nature preserve, and various lessons and classes. Plus, there are lots of shady trees and open grass for leisure space.

Green Lake is one of Seattle's favorite parks. The 3 mile, paved running trail is great for walking, rollerblading, running, or biking.
