A terrific interactive way of learning about wines; A huge wine cellar featuring exceptional products from all around the world, ... even from places you wouldn't expect. Free tasting at the end. It's like an attraction park for adults : finally!!! Fantastic views. Great restaurant -make reservations- Nice snack opens unto the Garonne river.

ENGLISH: The story of Bordeaux wine -- A must-see! Only for intrepid walkers (50 min along Riverside Walkway), but an easy bike ride (30 min.) Otherwise, take the tram from the Miroir d'eau (30 min walk along Riverside Walkway).

Take tram B to the stop known as "Cite du Vin". Trip Advisor says, "Admire the museum’s modern outdoor architecture before heading inside to take advantage of the exhibits. Learn all about wine culture and dive deep into certain interests as you stroll along through more than 20 different wine-themed areas. You can follow an interactive guide on a hand-held travel device, or just travel through reading information at your own pace."
