Canoe and Paddle is the 'local' pub. Great spot for hearing live music, and there is some great local music in Lakefield! Wednesday night is trivia night and is always busy so get there early. Lots of craft beer on tap. My favourite menu item is the Nutty Goat Salad and the Queen Lizzie and I always have to get the sweet potato fries! They don't take reservations unless it is a large group.

Great atmosphere. Wonderful opportunity to visit the beautiful village of Lakefield. Friendly staff and delicious food.

This is a great pub, all of their food is home made, some of it is a bit pricey, but they have some great dishes. I totally recommend doing some sightseeing in Lakefield, and hitting this place up for Lunch or Dinner.
