Haywood's restaurant and the Georges Hotel occupy a recently exquisitely renovated late 18th century Federalist style brick building in Lexington town center. This is one of the most expensive places to eat in Lexington but the food is excellent and the setting luxurious. There is an active bar…

Restaurant
“The best upscale bar scene in Lexington with excellent food and service. The building is a very nicely renovated 19th century brick building with attached Hotel (The Georges). There is outdoor seating as well a very attractive indoor venue and bar. Food is served for lunch and dinner and is best described a bistro or upscale bar food. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the experience.”

Food
“One of four microbreweries in the Lexington area, in my opinion this is the best. The scenic view of the nearby Blue Ridge mountains and adjacent farm land is spectacular. The venue is modern and interesting, dog and kid friendly and the beer is good , pricey but worth it. There are occasional music and food truck activities on weekends- visit website of Facebook for details.”
