Tips from locals
I don't really ever recommend people come to the coast of Maine and shop at the Kittery Outlets. But you do you. However, there is one compelling reason to visit that part of town and its to visit Bobs. A true Maine institution...all the seafood you could want, cooked well and owned by a true pillar…
fresh, delicious fried local seafood. chowder worth a visit alone. lines can be long, do not be discouraged - quick service. nice outdoor seating options. might need bug repellent!
Classic and simply delicious - fried seafood, amazing lobster rolls, Maine attitude and relaxed and family-friendly. We love their Lillian Style Clams with a fountain soda and of course ice cream after!
Exceptional fried clams and close by. Eat outside or in, or take out and bring back to the Hideaway!
Somewhat inexpensive eat outdoors seafood . The same owner as Roberts Maine grill across the street

“Probably my favorite restaurant! Great place to go after shopping the outlets. This is also the best place to get local oysters. They have the freshest and largest selection which changes daily. Beautiful views from the deck .”

“A short walk from our rental, this is a classic Mexican restaurant. Need nachos or tacos or a burrito? This is a local hot spot. We usually grab and go, but there is plenty of space to dine on site. ”

“Incredible bakery and also a great stop for breakfast or lunch. We like to get sandwiches here to go and have a picnic at Fort Foster, Seapoint, or Stage Neck Beach (via the Wiggly Bridge walk). They have an excellent Fogasse loaf. ”
