Muriel's is located on Jackson Square, on the corner one block over from Tableaux. They have a nice bar towards the rear of the building, where you can dine as well. I love their turtle soup. The building is also haunted by the ghost of a previous owner who has a table set up just for him every day. $$$

Good, typical New Orleans fare. If the upstairs is open, grab a drink at the bar and go upstairs to the balcony to watch the sunset or people watch. Overlooks Jackson Square.

Muriel's is a French Quarter staple, casual fine dining. They have an online gluten free menu with brunch and entree items. Blackened catfish, shrimp remoulade, and vegetable curry are our favorite dishes. Tips: park at Hotel Place d'Armes on St. Ann Street, reservations recommended, 2nd floor balcony dining has fantastic views of Jackson Square

French Quarter area Right next to the cathedral and yes the food is great. Coolest thing about this place is the Séance Room upstairs. You may have to ask someone to show you where it is, but you can have a cocktail on balcony, and enjoy the possibility of conjuring up ghost.
