Perhaps one of the best Mexican places in town. You get the real deal. It is a favorite lunch spot and closes at 2:00pm so you may have to wait a bit for a table. But don't be surprised if someone offers to share theirs. This is a friendly place! Very budget friendly too!

Chili Verde is a smaller restaurant in Ajijic. The food has home cooked flavors and the menu has really special, specials. They even hand make their tortillas. It is popular because the food tastes fantastic and is about half the price

This is my go to place for enchiladas. It is located on the plaza (about a 25 minute walk) and there's always things happening. The price is very affordable and you get plenty to eat. This is not an open air restaurant.
