- Campground“About 30 min along the Lakeshore Road Pinery is a must-do day trip! Make sure we come early to find a parking spot and have enough time to do a little bit of everything: cycling or hiking on its beautiful trails (bikes are available for rent if you don’t bring yours), pedal along the serene channel watching fishes and turtles, and several hours of fun on its beautiful beaches. (We also must grab an ice cream in the park’s famous ice-cream shop. Have kids – no choice!) In winter, we come for cross-country skiing (again, if we left out skis behind, we can rent). Although these are our favorites, exploration does not stop here.”
