A Palisade institution! I've known Mary, the baker who is there every day they're open, as long as I can remember. Amazing baked goods, amazing prices and a charming little space. They now offer coffee and some other drinks. When they have the ice cream sandwiches be sure to get one! And if you have time order a pie! Mary's are amazing. This is the essential local, hand made, natural, charming bakery. Historically they were known for their fruit cake. I get the premola granola every time I'm there and send it to family who are not in the area. 1.7 miles from the cottage. Easy bike ride. Located in downtown (next to the Blue Pig Gallery). Closed Sundays and Mondays.
