Right in the Centre of Sjøvegan is the stately Lundbrygga pier. The pier was constructed in between the two world wars on the site of an older pier. The exhibition "Fjord = Ferd" (The word "ferd" meaning "journey" in English) tells the coastal culture history of the Asta Fjord (Norwegian: Astafjorden).

The pier is now a museum where you can see the exhibition "Fjord = Ferd", which tells about the coastal culture in Astafjord. The museum also tempts with other temporary exhibitions and events throughout the year, and here you will also find the café, museum shop and tourist information. We recommend combining the trip to Lundbrygga with a visit to "Kare Kaia» located in the museum 1 level - a unique cafe where you get the feeling to get to grandmother's kitchen!
